Lancaster, PA

HIGHLIGHTS: Welcome to the Fahnestock House, a historic home built in the 1880s in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The owners purchased the home in 2008 and have been slowly bringing it back to life over the years.

In a true labor of love, the home’s owners have designed a space that pays homage to its original time period, always seeking authenticity, while creating a gorgeous, modern place of retreat for guests from both far and near.

Wake up to sunlight streaming through the windows and enjoy a cup of coffee and beautiful views from this third-floor space. The George Flat is named after the home’s original owner’s son, George. The flat is filled with nooks and crannies, rounded walls and ceilings, original bathroom fixtures, and all kinds of historic charm. The George flat includes a kitchenette with full size stove, mini-fridge, and complimentary local brews. One queen bed plus one pull-out sofa makes room for four.
